Villas Jacquelina is 10 minutes walking from central Quepos and a cab from central Quepos to Villas Jacquelina runs $3 or less. This B&B is located in a safe family neighborhood called “Finca los Alfaro”. The Alfaro farm area is well known for it’s striking beauty while being close to Quepos. Guests love that they are so close to town yet feel like they are miles away.
San Jose to Villas Jacquelia
If you are coming from the San Jose/Jaco direction, head south toward Quepos on the main road that will bring you into the town of Quepos. After you pass the gas station near Quepos, take your next left onto a small, single lane bridge with a yellow fenced walking path, called Puente Lo Lo. The bridge will be the first left you can make after passing the gas station and is about 1 kilometer from the gas station. (If you cross the bridge that enters into downtown Quepos, you have gone too far.) Once you find the small, single lane bridge called Puente lo lo, cross the bridge and take your first left onto the closest unpaved road. Follow that road for about 600 meters and you will see Villas Jacquelina on the left
Take a taxi from San José International Airport to the Tracopa Bus Terminal in San José. Locate
Transportes Tracopa Public bus transportation from Tracopa bus terminal. Tickets are approximately $8 per person one-way to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio Bus Terminal and you can pay in dollars or in colones. There is no boarding at San José Airport; only at the Tracopa Bus terminal. It will take a little over 3 hours to get to Quepos/Manuel Antonio from San José. There are Colectivo(c) buses that will take about an hour longer, cost a little less, and are more frequent in the day. Be sure to keep your belongings in sight until the bus driver puts them in the storage under the bus. He will give you a claim ticket.
